The situation of Armando González and his possible departure from Chivas to Greek football is once again marked by conflicting reports. According to the journalist Nikos Kotsis of Sports24, Olympiacos has reached a definitive agreement with Chivas to acquire the services of the Mexican striker. According to the report, the Greek club has improved its offer to convince Chivas, including a fixed amount, performance bonuses, and a percentage of a future sale of the player.

"Olympiacos has secured the services of Armando González. The agreement with Chivas Guadalajara is definitive. The Mexican club responded favorably to the final offer, which includes 8.5 million euros + 2 million euros in bonuses + a 10% percentage on a future sale, Kotsis reported.

The proposal would represent a significant financial move for Chivas, as it includes 8.5 million euros guaranteed, as well as an additional 2 million euros subject to the achievement of different objectives. Additionally, it would include a 10% share that Chivas would retain from a future sale of the striker.

The Greek journalist also reported that the negotiation did not limit itself to the agreement between both clubs, as González had already agreed to the terms of his arrival at Olympiacos and was expected to travel to Greece by Wednesday. "The international striker reached an agreement with the rojiblancos several days ago and is expected to arrive in Greece no later than Wednesday, Kotsis added.

Despite the firmness with which the information is handled in Greece, the situation is different in Guadalajara. Sources close to Chivas say that at the moment, there is no news that confirms Armando González's transfer to Olympiacos. Information from the rojiblanco environment indicates that the club has received two offers for the striker, but none have been considered sufficiently attractive to finalize his departure. Additionally, the same sources say that Chivas has not received a new offer that has changed the negotiation scenario, so within the club, they do not consider the operation to be closed.

The situation could be clarified in the coming hours, as negotiations advance and it is known whether the proposal reported in Greece corresponds to a new offer accepted by Chivas. For now, from the rojiblanco environment, the departure of Armando González is not considered to be confirmed.
