Guadalajara Chivas Femenil unveils Apertura 2026 schedule

The wait is over for Chivahermanos. Liga MX Femenil has officially released the Apertura 2026 schedule, and Guadalajara Chivas Femenil will kick off their campaign at home against Querétaro on Sunday, August 2 at Estadio AKRON. The team, currently 18th in Liga MX with 0 points (0-0-1, recent form: L), aims to improve their performance in the new season.

When and against whom does Chivas Femenil play?

The season opener is on August 2 at 5:06 PM against Querétaro. A week later, on August 9, they will travel to Puebla to face the Camoteras. The most anticipated matches, the Clásico Tapatío against Atlas and the Clásico de México against América, will take place on September 4 and November 6, respectively.

New Liga MX Femenil format

This year, the league introduces a new format with 18 teams divided into two groups of three tiers. Chivas Femenil is in Group B, Tier 1, and will face all teams in their group, plus two opponents from each tier of Group A.
