Chicharito criticizes his time at Guadalajara Chivas
Former Guadalajara Chivas striker Javier 'Chicharito' Hernández has spoken about his experience with the club and his decision to join Atlético Dallas. In an interview with AS, Hernández revealed that his time in Guadalajara was very tough and that the treatment he received there was different from what he has received in his new team.
"My time in Guadalajara was very tough. The treatment I received here is something I didn't have there. The fans treated me wonderfully, but many people within the club didn't treat me like Matt and Sam did", said Hernández.
Why did Chicharito leave Guadalajara Chivas?
Hernández explained that his decision to leave Guadalajara Chivas was due to the fact that he no longer wanted to play football and was thinking about retiring or not. "If I took a year off it's because I no longer wanted to play and was thinking if I was going to retire or not, but it was because I ended up in Guadalajara without wanting to play football", said.

Guadalajara Chivas is currently in 11th place in Liga MX with 3 points, 1 win, 0 draws and 1 loss in 2 games. Their next game is against Puebla on August 1.
