Guadalajara Chivas have released tickets for the second leg of their Clausura 2026 Liga MX Semifinal against Cruz Azul. The match will be held at Estadio Jalisco, the club's second home.
The club enters this decisive stage in strong league form, sitting fourth in the table with 10 points from five games. Their last result was a commanding 5-2 victory over Club Tijuana on August 22, keeping them just three points behind leaders Club America. The team has four wins and a draw in their last five outings and is on a three-game winning streak.
The Clausura 2026 Semifinal series between Guadalajara Chivas and Cruz Azul will be a two-legged affair. The first leg will be played midweek away from home, though the venue is still pending confirmation between Estadio Azteca and Estadio Cuauhtémoc. The second leg, for which tickets are now on sale, will be played on a weekend at Estadio Jalisco. The exact dates and kickoff times for both matches will be officially confirmed on Monday, May 10.
This will be the fifth time Chivas and Cruz Azul have met in the short-tournament Liguilla. They have faced off three times in Quarterfinals (AP25, AP06, VER99) and once in the Reclassification stage (CL03). The winner of this tie will advance directly to the Liga MX Grand Final.
Ticket sales for the second leg at Estadio Jalisco are now underway. Chivabono holders have access to an exclusive presale that began on Sunday, May 10 at 9:30 PM and runs until Tuesday, May 12 at 5:00 PM. The general public sale will start on that same Tuesday at 6:30 PM.
Both the presale and general sale will be conducted through the Boletomóvil digital platform, available on its website and mobile app. Box holders at Estadio AKRON and Chivabono holders will receive detailed information and specific instructions via their registered email.
Guadalajara Chivas reached this Semifinal by eliminating Tigres in the previous round. The team managed by Fernando Gago is showing solid performance at the start of the tournament, with a record of 8 goals scored and 5 conceded, giving them a +3 goal difference.
Before fully focusing on the Semifinal, the team has a league commitment. Their next match in the championship is away against bottom-placed Atlético San Luis on September 5. The full team schedule is available on our fixtures calendar.
The ticket sale marks the start of the countdown to a historic clash. With the team in good form and the fans preparing to fill the Jalisco, Guadalajara Chivas aims to take a definitive step towards the final. Qualifying for this stage is already an achievement, but the clear objective is to keep climbing the league standings.
